Terms of Service

1. Service Description

AlienX Servers provides free game server hosting as a hobby project. The service is offered at no cost and is not a commercial product. No payment is required or accepted.

2. No Warranty — "As Is"

The service is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. This includes, but is not limited to:

• No guarantee of uptime or availability
• No guarantee of server performance
• No guarantee that the service will meet your requirements
• No guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free

3. Limitation of Liability

AlienX Servers and its operator(s) are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data, game saves, or world files
• Server downtime or unavailability
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

You use this service entirely at your own risk. Always keep your own backups of any data you care about.

4. No Support

This is a free service with no technical support. You are responsible for:

• Configuring your server
• Managing your server files
• Troubleshooting any issues
• Keeping backups of your data

5. Account Limits

Each user is limited to one server at a time. Attempting to circumvent this limit (e.g., creating multiple accounts) may result in termination of all associated accounts.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use AlienX Servers for:

• Hosting illegal content or conducting illegal activities
• Distributing malware, viruses, or harmful software
• Attacking or attempting to disrupt other servers or services
• Reselling or commercially exploiting access to your server
• Mining cryptocurrency or running non-game workloads
• Any activity that places excessive strain on shared resources

Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination without warning.

7. Right to Terminate

AlienX Servers reserves the right to:

• Suspend or terminate any account at any time, for any reason
• Delete servers that have been stopped for 7 days or more
• Remove content that violates these terms
• Refuse service to anyone

No refunds will be provided (because there's nothing to refund).

8. Service Discontinuation

This is a hobby project with no obligation to continue operating indefinitely. While there are no current plans to shut down, AlienX Servers may discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice. We'll try to give reasonable warning if possible, but no guarantees are made.

9. Data & Privacy

We collect minimal data required to operate the service:

• Discord account information used for registration
• Email address for account recovery
• Server configuration and game files you upload

We do not sell your data. Server data may be deleted at any time due to inactivity, policy violations, or service discontinuation. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups.

10. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Major changes will be announced in the Discord server where possible.
